"This instrumental composition emerged almost ten years ago - at the time when I lived in the city of Olomouc, and regularly listened to contrapunctic movements of artistic organ players in the church of St. Moritz. The composition was further also inspired by the music of J.S.Bach whose secrets I discovered in the same time period. At present, this composition is for me a nostalgic recollection of my workshop in Dub nad Moravou (City in Czech Republic). I wish to dedicate this work to my grand-uncle Václav Šnajdr (Sznaydr) in memoriam."
“Tato instrumentální skladba vznikla již téměř před deseti lety, v době, kdy jsem přebýval v Olomouci a pravidelně poslouchal kontrapuntické umění varhaníků v kostele sv. Mořice. Skladba byla inspirována také hudbou Johanna Sebastiana Bacha, jejíž taje jsem objevil v tomto období. Dnes je pro mne tato skladba nostalgickou vzpomínkou na mou dílnu v Dubu na Moravou. Věnuji ji svému prastrýci Václavu Šnajdrovi in memoriam.”
